KOTTAYAM: In an inebriated stage, a man beat his wife to death in front of her parents. The dead has been identified as Jisha (30), wife of Jimeesh. The incident happened at 11 pm last night. The fight started when Jisha stopped him from drinking and in a fit of rage, he beat her on her head using an iron rod.
Even though she was taken to Kottayam Medical College Hospital with injuries, her life could not be saved. The couple has two children.
