No seat for RSP, says CPM; friendly contest likely in Kollam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPM has informed the RSP that it would not be possible for the party to give any seat to the latter, let alone the Kollam seat. CPM informed this on Friday during its bilateral talks with the RSP well ahead of the LDF meeting.
The leaders added that it was not appropriate to call the RSP leaders for talks after taking decisions on seat.

As it is clear that the RSP will not get any seat, there is more possibility for a friendly contest in Kollam. RSP is planning to make former minister Premachandran their poster boy for lection contests.

RSP leader A A Asees has said that he will boycott the LDF meet to be held during the day. “Our leaders will meet to discuss the future course of action in the wake of the party being denied seats,” RSP leaders said.
