THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Even though Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan in a statement welcomed the decision taken by the party expelling CPI (M) Kunnummakkara local committee member K C Ramachandran, accused in the murder case of RMP leader T P Chandrasekharan, he expressed his displeasure mentioning the action as incomplete.
VS, who released a statement on it Friday morning, changed his stand while talking to reporters in Kottarakkara. He welcomed the decision of taking action against him but the action is incomplete, he said. The case will be investigated again if there is politics and complaints in the murder of TP, he added.
VS in the statement said party general secretary Prakash Karat has executed what he said that if anybody from the party is involved in the murder case, then he will be shown the door.
The commission entrusted by the party central committee in the murder case of TP found K C Ramachandran guilty and he has been expelled from the party. The party has implemented the statement of Karat that if any activist is found involved in the case then he will not be spared.
The investigating commission finding that personal enmity is the reason behind the murder of TP is just their conclusion. A probe by the party should be conducted to reveal more things in the case.
