Chennithala seeks vigilance inquiry against Jayarajan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala has written to the Vigilance director seeking inquiry against Minister E P Jayarajan for his alleged nepotism.

Chennithala said appointment of his relative Sudheer Nambiar, which was cancelled later, was violation of oath he had taken when he took over as minister. It is naked corruption, act of nepotism and a serious offence. An FIR should be registered against him and a comprehensive inquiry should be conducted against him.

“Jayarajan is unfit to be the minister. Three years ago he had committed a crime that deserved three-year jail term,” Chennithala added.

Sudheeran also demanded Jayarajan’s resignation
