DYFI activists lay siege to Kazhakootam police station

Saturday, February 18, 2012: The activists of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) on Saturday laid siege to the Kazhakootam police station alleging that the police was implicating SFI activists in false cases.
Inaugurating the protest march here today, DYFI district president D Biju alleged that the police was trying to frame the SFI activists who are students of Chempazhanthy SN College in false cases.
The police must give up this evil tendency or the DYFI would step up the agitation, he added.
