Rs. 1 cr illegal money seized in Thrissur, one held
Sunday, February 19, 2012: The Thrissur shadow police have on Sunday morning seized unaccounted money amounting to Rs. One crore and arrested one person in connection with this.
The accused has been identified as Sankaran, hailing from Cherppu, police told. The police also seized six kilograms of gold that was being smuggled to Cherppu.
The gang was busted following a tip off to the police.
