THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will call on Chief Justice Mohan M Shantanagoudar over the ban on media in the Kerala High Court. He gave the assurance to senior reporters who met him on Tuesday.
The journalists informed the chief minister that banning the media in the high court is denial of freedom to work and denying people’s rights to know. The chief minister’s reply was that the media has not been banned in the high court. The chief minister brought to their notice the talks held between the advocate general and the chief justice. The chief minister agreed to hold talks with the Chief Justice following the demand of the media.
