NEW DELHI: The CPM will not allow any irregularity in its functioning and Jayarajan’s resignation was just part of the party’s corrective measures, Party politburo member S Ramachandran Pillai has said.
“It is natural for humans to commit mistakes. But the CPM has shown the strength to correct its mistakes. This is a quality that can’t be seen in the UDF or NDA. Party action against Jayarajan and P K Sreemathy will be decided by State-Central committees,” he said today.
Pillai was responding to media questions regarding the resignation of Industries minister E P Jayarajan.
