UDF to continue strike in next three consecutive days

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In the self-financing issue, UDF will continue their strike in the next three consecutive days. They will take out torchlight march in all assembly constituencies tomorrow. Day after tomorrow, they will hold Secretariat march under Opposition youth organisations.

Secretariat march will be held in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday and in other districts, Collectorate march will be taken out.
In case no compromise over is arrived, future course of action will be charted out in a meeting tomorrow at 3pm. Briefing the media on, UDF convenor P P Thankachan said other MLAs would replace those on fast in front of the Secretariat, if the later developed health issues.   
In the wake of the strike completing six days, the UDF has decided to intensify and expand the agitation. P P Thankachan said it would not be possible to end the strike as no rollback in fee is announced. “The strike also has the support of   Kerala Congress Mani group and general public,” he added.
