Man kills daughter, attempts suicide in Thalassery

Saturday, February 18, 2012 : In what could send shock waves in the whole locality, a man killed his daughter by strangulating and poisoning her in Thalassery here on Friday. He is suspected to be mentally challenged.
Aswathy, daughter of Sadanandan from Kariyad, was killed by her father. The man,who later attempted suicide has been admitted to a nearby private hospital and is now under police custody. Aswathy was a final year B com student of Thalassery Christ college.
