KOCHI: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has urged the Central government to reconsider its decision to authorise the oil companies to fix fuel prices.
The chief minister was speaking on the occasion of dedication of the LNG terminal to the nation by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in Kochi on Saturday.
Chandy also opposed the move to raise the price of cooking gas. “Not only the rich, the poor are also using cooking gas and hence hiking the gas price now and then would affect all sections of society,” he said.
