Campus politics will be restrained, Govt tells court

KOCHI: State government has filed an affidavit in the high court, stating that strict action will be taken to contain organisational activities in college campuses.  

To facilitate the above, amendments will be bought in the rules regarding campus politics. Flex boards and wall writing will be banned inside the campus. The government will also consider using CCTVs to view class rooms and campuses.   

The college officials can approach the police to restrict strikes that hinder class hours. In each semester, 90 percent attendance will be made compulsory.
