THRISSUR: The postmortem report of actor Kalabhavan Mani said he had serious liver problems. His liver was completely damaged. The report said he vomited blood after his liver failed to function properly after liquor consumption. Meantime, in order to confirm traces of poison in his body, his internal organs would be subjected for a forensic examination, the report said.
Reports said the traces of poison seen in his body may due to continuous consumption of medicines. In order to confirm it, the samples of his internal organs have been sent to the forensic lab in Kakkinad, Kochi.
In the meanwhile, the police have recorded the statement of five including a mimicry artiste who drank liquor with the actor. More investigation is on.
