KANNUR: The medical report of CPM district secretary P Jayarajan, remanded in the Kathiroor Manoj murder case, has claimed that his health condition is satisfactory. The Kannur Central Jail superintendent has obtained the medical report of expert doctors of Thiruvananthapuram Sree Chitra Medical Centre.
The report will be submitted at the Thalassery district sessions court tomorrow. The district sessions court will consider CBI’s plea seeking his custody again on March 4. When the case was considered the other day, Jayarajan’s counsel K Viswan had argued in the court that more time should be needed as he is taking 14 types of medicines in 24 times a day. The CBI had asked his medical report to find whether it is true.
