Gas leaks from tanker lorry

ANGAMALY: An Angamaly-bound tanker lorry was spotted with gas leakage on Monday. The leakage from the valve came to the public notice at Karayamparambil. Fire force personnel and BPCL authorities, who reached the spot, were able to plug the leakage after hours of repair works.

As a precautionary measure, people from the nearby residents have been evacuated. Power supply has also been cut. Following the incident, traffic flow in the Angamaly-Thrissur National Highway had come to a halt.
