Man commits suicide after seeing off son

NEYYATTINKARA:  A man after seeing off his son Subhash, who was to take a flight to the Gulf, committed suicide in the sunshade of his house Wednesday morning. He has been identified as Shashi (56) of Neyyattinkara.

Relatives saw him hanging when Subhash reached the airport to catch a flight to the Gulf. He immediately cancelled the trip and reached home. Shashi’s wife had predeceased him. Apart from Subhash, Suma and Sudhi are his other children.
