KOLLAM: Burglars shot to death a Keralite in Ivory Coast, an African country on Wednesday. The dead has been identified as Rahul (28), the son of Kollam Kurrppuzha natives Rajeev and Sujatha.
The incident happened at Indian time 11 pm. Rahul was an employee under cashew nut business man hailing from Tamil Nadu.
On the fateful day Rahul was returning home with money he had withdrawn from a bank. He was waylaid near his home and the burglars asked for money. But as Rahul was not ready to give in to their demands, they shot him dead. Rahul had been working in Ivory Coast for the past six years. Veena is his wife.
