THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM Politburo member Pinarayi Vijayan has said his party was not against Kerala Congress Joseph Group joining the LDF. “They were once the part of the LDF,” Pinarayi clarified this during an interview given to a magazine.
Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan the other day said that renegades should be allowed to join the LDF only after a proper examination and study of them are made.
Meanwhile, renegade group leader Francis George has asked for seats usually allotted to the Joseph Group when they were with the LDF. Francis may demand Thiruvananthapuram, Changanassery, Kothamangalam and Idukki seats.
