Bar case: There was no pressure, says SP Sukeshan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Vigilance SP Sukeshan has said that he didn’t face any kind of pressure from the government or his superiors while investigations were going on in the bar bribery case. The court ordering continuation of the probe was just a normal court procedure and it doesn’t mean that the accused had been convicted.

“Earlier also in several cases, the court has ordered further probe,” he said, rejecting the reports that he tried to commit suicide after coming under political pressure.

Sukeshan said soon after the election, the investigation would begin under a new team that will be formed.
