BALARAMAPURAM: A 75-year-old man suffered grievous injuries after he was attacked by an elephant at Nellivila.
The injured identified as Viswambaran Nair of Balaramapuram has been admitted at the medical college hospital.
A tense situation prevailed in the area after the elephant ran for kilometres.
Nair was attacked while he was going for work Tuesday morning at 8.45 am.
