Police register case against Nisham’s brother

THRISSUR: The Thrissur West Police have registered a case against brother of businessman Mohammed Nisham, accused in the Chandrabose murder case, for threatening Anoop, the key witness in the case. Anoop has complained at the court that Rasheed, Nisham’s brother, had threatened to kill his wife and children. Following this, the court asked the police to take case against Rasheed. A case has been registered under IPC 195. Anoop told the court that he changed his statement on the first day of trial because Rasheed had threatened him with dire consequences.
