THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: K Muraleedharan MLA has said that Congress chief Sonia's was the party’s last word and everyone in the party was liable to obey her. He was responding to Sudhakaran MP’s statement that it was difficult to erase groupism from the State Congress.
"The Congress workers have the moral responsibility to obey Sonia’s words. Only those persons who obey her will have a place in the party. I have also been punished for disobeying her once," Muraleedharan said, adding that "Congress Chief Whip PC George need not interfere in the internal affairs of the party".
Muraleedharan said a final decision on Aranmula project should only be taken after discussing the issue in the KPPC meeting. The affidavit submitted by the government at the Green Tribunal should be discussed in the meeting. The government and KPCC should interact with the Arnmula action council members to get first-hand knowledge of their problems.
