KOCHI: The state government will file an appeal in the Kerala High Court seeking to enhance the punishment awarded to the accused in the TP murder case. The director general of prosecution informed this to the court when considering the plea of the 12 accused seeking cancellation of the punishment awarded. The court has admitted the plea of the accused.
Meantime, the court will seek government’s opinion on 31st accused Lambu Pradeepan’s plea seeking cancellation of his sentence. The case will be considered again on Wednesday.
