KOCHI: No lapses occurred on the part of police in the bail granted to Saritha S Nair when the arrest warrant exists, said Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala. She was released as part of court proceedings and the government has nothing to do on it, he said.
Chennithala said the government has no special interest in the case. Law will take its own course. The case is moving forward as per the court proceedings. The letter of opposition leader V S Achuthanandan seeking a probe on the financial sources of Saritha has been handed over to the DGP for further procedures
