THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan attacked the Centre’s decision not to order CBI probe into the mysterious death of Satnam Singh, who turned aggressive at Amrithanadamayi mutt and was later admitted to Peroorkkada mental hospital.
In a statement, Achuthanandan said he had earlier made request for an unbiased probe into Satnam’s death. “It is necessary to keep off doubts. But the State/central governments have brushed my request under the carpet,” he said.
