NEW DELHI: CPM State secretary Pinarayi Vijayan has sought the cancellation of Kasturirangan report. The Centre should come forward to conduct a new study and bring out a new report. Pinarayi was speaking to media persons after he reached Delhi to attend CPM Politburo meeting on Friday.
“In order to solve the issue, the Centre should cancel the report… there is no other way. The Centre has rejected Kerala’s concerns over the implementation of the report. An office memorandum may be issued according to the report given by Kerala. But that will not suffice as earlier also such a memorandum was issued. If the Centre is ready for the cancellation of the report, it should happen within two days, since it cannot be done once the election dates are declared,” said Pinarayi
