KOCHI: Police have served notice on CCL stars, asking them to be present at the police station within a week, in connection with their alleged misbehaviour in Indigo plane a few days ago.
The police action follows filing of a case by the police after the airlines lodged a police complaint. The airhostess and pilot have also been asked to be present at the police station on March 3.
The star cricketers were on board the flight to Hyderabad where they were going to take part in Celebrity cricket League matches. When the airhostess was giving safety instructions, some of the players allegedly jeered at her and clapped hands continuously. Following this, the players were offloaded from the flight.
Meanwhile, Strikers team members had held that they left the flight on their own as they were irked by the behaviour of the plane crew.
Film stars’ association AMMA had also criticised the team members’ behaviour.
