One dies in lorry-auto collision

NEYYATTINKARA: An auto-rickshaw that was heading towards Thiruvananthapuram Medical College collided with a mini lorry, killing the passenger inside the auto.

Five persons have been seriously injured and the injured have been admitted to Medical college hospital. The accident happened at five in the morning at Neyyattinkara Alummoodu junction.

The deceased was Puthan veettil Unni from Thirupuram Madanthannivalla. He is survived by wife Sumathi, wards Vijayan and Janat.

Vijayan, 50, Vipin 18, Sathish, 22, Saji, 30, and Aneesh, 24, were the injured.
