Don’t recruit persons named in Vigilance cases, Sudheeran tells govt

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president V M Sudheeran has written to the government, asking it to withhold the appointment of officials named in Vigilance cases. Any such appointment made in government departments should be cancelled.

It is presumed that Sudheran’s instruction comes in the wake of the government making Riji Nair, the former Managing Director of Consumer Fed, the director of Co-operative Academy of Professional Education (Cape) director.

Sudheeran has also asked the government to deny alcohol license to local self government institutions under Congress.
