PERUNNA: NSS general secretary G Sukumaran Nair refused to meet KPCC chief V M Sudheeran, who reached NSS headquarters to partake in the commemoration meet of Mannam Samadhi. Nair, who was at the Samadhi Mandapam went to the office as soon as Sudheeran reached.
Sudheeran after taking over as KPCC chief is for the first time visiting NSS headquarters. Union Minister Kodikkunnil Suresh, Kottayam DCC president Tomy Kallani and many others accompanied Sudheeran. Nair went to the office after waiting for Sudheeran, who failed to reach at the scheduled time.
Sudheeran offered floral tributes at the Mannam Smrithi Mandapam along with NSS president P N Narendranathan Nair. He later left for the reception arranged for him at the Kottayam DCC.
Meantime, Kodikkunil Suresh termed as baseless the news that Nair refused to meet Sudheeran.
