Will spurn allegations: Sukumaran Nair

PERUNNA: NSS General Secretary Sukumaran Nair has said that NSS would brush aside all allegations regarding KPCC President V M Sudheeran’s visit to the Perunna NSS head office. The organisation would also have same attitude towards Opposition leader V S Achuthandan, who had backed Sudheeran.

“Many Congress leaders have contacted the NSS after the incident. They all have expressed their regret over the issue. We are not averse to the Congress or any other political party. KPPC president and his coterie are those who have complicated the situation,” he said.

Sukumaran Nair said he had no intention to receive Sudheeran or hold discussions with him. “The news that is spreading now is against this, which is wrong. NSS office is not a place where any one can hop in and hop out. Many people are in queue to pay floral respect at Mannam Samadhi. If Sudheeran had come for that, he could have remained in the queue with them,” he added.
