ALAPPUZHA: Saritha S Nair, main accused in the solar case, will approach the Kanhangad Court seeking the withdrawal of the arrest warrant issued against her. The production warrant was issued on January 31, 2013 by the Hosdurg Judicial Magistrate Court for deceiving the owners of Power For You Alternate Energy Marketing Service.
Meantime, Saritha’s advocate Feny Balakrishnan said the warrant issued was not a problem for her release. She had obtained bail in the case. The warrant was issued just to produce her and it can be solved if a plea of apology is filed. The media misinterpreted that an arrest warrant still exists.
In the meanwhile, Saritha, who earlier said that she will meet the media today, has cancelled it. The decision was taken as she was directed to meet the media after consulting senior legal experts.
