THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There are reports that the Joseph group has decided to field Francis George in Idukki in the coming Lok Sabha election amidst wrangling over the seat there. For that, the group has got assurance from the Left. The development will be a blow to the Congress and K M Mani.
The things got heating up as Antony Raju recently said that the LDF was ready for friendly contest. Joseph came out to express his opinion publicly after coming to know that K M Mani and his group are not interested in the Idukki seat. Whatever may be the reason, the Joseph group has dropped sufficient hints that they are not going to sidestep from contesting the Idukki seat. The Left has also given assurance of support to the Joseph group, it is said.
