THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Senior Congress leader and newly appointed KPCC chief V M Sudheeran Friday said the Aranmula Airport is a wrong developmental project of the state.
Talking to a private channel, he said the former LDF Government had gone wrong on the Aranmula airport project. They made a mistake in giving sanction in principle for the airport project without conducting a feasibility study. The UDF Government, who came later, too followed the same mistake.
Sudheeran said the government shouldn’t go forward with the project and if it happens, sanction will have to be given for many projects approved in principle. There are two opinions in the KPCC on the Aranmula issue. Steps will be taken to solve the issue. The absence of the chief minister in many programmes including the function where I took charge as the KPCC chief, gave a wrong note.
