BJP panchayat nominee dead

KASARAGOD: Manjunatha, BJP nominee from Ward 18 of Manjeswaram grama panchayat, died on Wednesday. The 38-year-old man, a carpenter by profession, died after he suffered chest pain at his house at Kayyarkatta around 7 am, party sources said. Though he was rushed to a Mangaluru hospital, the end came around noon. Manjunatha was said to have enjoyed winning edge in the ward which has a sizeable support base for the BJP.
