THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two trains starting from Kerala and one train passing through the State have been cancelled owing to heavy rains in Tamil Nadu. This was informed by the Southern Railways via its press release.
The train Thiruvananthapuram –Shalimar Express (22641) which was supposed to start from Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday evening has been cancelled. The Ernakulam-Patna Express (16359) which was to start from Ernakulam at 11 in the night on Saturday has also been cancelled.
Another train that has been cancelled is Thirunelveli-Bilaspur Express (22620) that was to start from Thiruneveli on Sunday 1:15 am and pass through Thiruvananthapuram and Coimbatore.
