Teenager dies in bike accident

KOCHI: A teenager died on Tuesday after his two-wheeler hit a speeding car near Chittethukara on the Seaport-Airport Road. The dead was identified as Ashkar Abbas (19), son of Abbas from Kothamangalam. The accident took place when the bike hit the car which came from the opposite direction. Ashkar suffered  serious head injuries and died a couple of hours later at a nearby hospital. Ebin Mathews, who was riding pillion suffered fractures on his legs. Police took the car into custody. No arrests have been made.
