SDPI-League clash in Kannur

KANNUR: Nine persons, who sustained injuries in two attacks which happened early Wednesday morning in continuation with the attacks witnessed soon after polling on November 2. The clash broke out between the activists of the SDPI and the Muslim League.

Muslim League activist Sharafudeen (28) was attacked by SDPI activists while he was on his way to work in Kannur market. He has been admitted at the AKG Hospital. Sharafudeen goes to the market regularly at 4 am and was attacked at that time. The miscreants fled by the time the locals reached the place.
