NEW DELHI: CPM State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has said that with the BJP declaring its support to tainted former minister K M Mani’s party, its anti-corruption policy has become a farce. This brings out the fact that BJP has two faces,” he told media persons.
“Muraleedharan’s statement shows that BJP would co-operate with any corrupt group. Allowing Mani to continue as the chief of Good Services Tax committee till he resigned as minister is part of the understanding between the BJP and the Kerala Congress. For launching Mani’s book, Union Minister Arun Jaitley himself had come to Kerala. This also is part of a secret agenda,” Kodiyeri said.
The communist leader said the BJP’s policy is to first fight against corruption and then enter into a secret alliance with them. “Muraleedharan should apologise to Yuva Morcha men who had received blows in agitations against Mani,” he added.
