THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: LDF Convenor Vaikom Viswan has said that the dominance of the LDF over the UDF in all sections of local self-governing bodies are confirmed when the election to chief positions in them are complete. “Despite UDF’s poll debacle, KPCC president V M Sudheeran’s allegation that the LDF is indulging in horse-trading need to be seen as his sharing his own experience,” Viswan added.
LDF won five out of six Corporations. LDF had an edge over the UDF even in municipalities where usually UDF put up a good performance. Even after forming 28 municipalities with the aim of coming to power, it couldn’t get majority.
