Don’t succumb to emotions, Pinarayi tells RSP men

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan has asked the RSP leaders not to work for party, after succumbing to emotions. In a statement on Saturday, he asked the RSP workers to remain unflinching on the path of politics of democracy.

“The LDF’s policy has always been to solve issues over Lok Sabha seats through discussions within the framework of the Front. If the party workers distance itself from this tradition due to emotional pressure, it would only badly influence the unity of the Left,” said the statement.

“It is presumed that the RSP, which has made valuable contributions to the Front, will not take any drastic step to weaken the RSP-Left unity, at a time when situation has arisen to sideline both the Congress and BJP. All left parties have the moral responsibility to strengthen the LDF unity,” he added.
