KOZHIKODE: Union Cabinet Minister of Overseas Affairs Vayalar Ravi and Minister of State for Home Mullappally Ramachandran Friday turned against Union Minister for Forests and Environment Veerappa Moily against the stand taken by him in connection with the Kasturirangan report.
Mullappally said Moily is talking against the interests of the party on the issue. He is making contradictory statements on the matter when Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress chairperson Sonia Gandhi are talking favorably. Persons like him cannot be considered as union ministers.
Talking to reporters in Kochi, Vayalar Ravi said the final word on the issue would be that of the Prime Minister and Sonia Gandhi.
